Here is the basic recipe for the Wilton Class ButterCream Icing. This is the recipe that will be used for every class. It is a simple recipe that has only 6 ingredients.
This icing produces a very stiff consistency. If you do not have a heavy duty stand mixer, do not try to make more than a single batch at a time.

Here is a Doctored cake mix recipe. It helps make the standard cake mix more dense yet very moist. Also included is a Cake Mix extender recipe, just in case you need a little extra to fill your pans.

Here is a recipe for royal icing that is used in the Flowers and Cake Design class to make all your flowers for your final cake. This smooth, hard-drying icing is perfect for making decorations that last. It is also useful as a "cement" to fasten decorations together. Royal icing is edible, but not recommended for icing cakes.

This next recipe is a cookie and cookie glaze recipe that was used in the Cookie Blossom Class as well as tips for how to roll out the cookies. These are very nice recipes that are simple to make and taste great.

This next recipe is for Marshmallow Fondant (MMF). MMF is easy to make, only a few ingredients, and tastes wonderful. You can also add any flavoring you want and it is simple to color as desired. It just takes time to make. But you can also have fun getting good and sticky. (Its a good project to keep kids entertained, too.)  :-)
